October 2020 Highlights and Events

I know that these days have been very trying on everyone.  Our lives can't get back to normal due to the pandemic and we on the West Coast have been dealing with fires and the smoke.  The political turmoil is also quite wearing.

So I want to give you a few moments of something fun and different with this October newsletter.  Here goes!

Events:

October 10 is National Handbag Day and to celebrate take 25% off all handbags October 10-17.

October 13, 14, 15 in-store Fall Fest after hours.  Reservations are required to keep everyone safe.  5:30 pm-7:30pm There will be refreshments with food individually wrapped.  I will expand the store into the hallway.  Learn about the new fall fashions, colors.  Scarf tying tips available.  Let's have some fun!

Highlights:

Pants Program:  I have a run of sizes 4-20 that are in process of being finished.  The "program" part means that if my off the rack pants don't fit you then I will adjust the fit.  No charge for a very minor tweak.  If the fit is more involved the charge is $75 for a custom pattern (pants are additional charge).

Scarf Tying Videos:   3 new videos, under Helpful Tips & Links, scarf tying videos.  These videos cover several techniques for tying square scarves.  Hope you like them.  You can always bring in your scarves for a hands on session.

Gift Ideas:  To help you, we have created a list of possible gift ideas. Jewelry, scarves, gloves, tights, sweaters, purses, card holders, wearable art, artisan note cards, loose leaf teas, mugs, infusers, local wines, and gift cards.

Tea Nook now open.  I am offering you a little respite with a table outside or in the hallway to safely enjoy a cup of tea.  Bring your book, knitting, crossword puzzle, friend, whatever.  Relax, rest, enjoy!
